Zion National Park

Zion National Park is wonderful even if it rains!  Fortunately we decided to take our slickers when we got on the shuttle back at the Visitor's Center because it really poured while we watched the movie and ate our sandwiches.  By the time we got to the next stop it was clearing up....

Rick took a photo of four guys who returned the favor. That's the (now little) Virgin River that cut into the rocks to make Zion National Park.  It just takes time--like 300 million years.  You don't want to be standing where we are when there is a flash flood which can send a 12 foot wall of water down the canyon....

The Narrows were closed--filled with winter debris....

This tree was an amazing array of roots, don't you think?
